I enjoy fly-fishing as it bridges the left and right sides of my brain. To be successful when out fishing, I take a scientific approach to understanding how the fish and their food (aquatic insects) behave. Armed with this knowledge, I impersonate the food, tying flies resembling the different aquatic insects and fooling the fish. The art of fly-tying is as important to me as the act of fishing itself.
