“As a result of the reduced Summer run abundance and increase management adjustment factor First Nations Food, Social and Ceremonial fisheries targeting Fraser sockeye are being closed in an orderly fashion to reduce the impacts on Summer run sockeye. Fishers are requested to check for opening times and any restrictions in their local areas. There are no planned Canadian commercial or recreational fisheries directed on Fraser sockeye at this time.”
