Hardy has been making rods and reels from their offices in England since 1872. The Marksman series are high-performance rods with a fast recovering, easy to load action that results in a great medium/fast-action that provides tippet protection, line control and comfort. A double up-locking reel seat milled from 6061 barstock aluminum with maplewood or carbon inserts is mated to AAA cork handles. Marksman 2 rods are available from 7’ to 11’ and come in line weights from #3 to #7.
