FN0955-RECREATIONAL – SALMON: Sockeye – Region 7 – Nechako River in Prince George – Opening – August 29, 2022 to September 15, 2022

Effective one hour before sunrise on August 29, 2022 until one hour after sunset on September 15, 2022, you may retain two (2) Sockeye salmon per day in that portion of the Nechako River from the downstream edge of the Foothills Boulevard Bridge to the boundary signs at the confluence with the Fraser River.

Fishing is permitted during daylight hours only. Day light hours only refers to one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Reference to sunrise and sunset means the times for those events as calculated by the National Research Council of Canada and published daily at https://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-79_metric_e.html.

You may not fish for or retain Chinook or Coho salmon.

The aggregate daily limit for all species of Pacific salmon from tidal and non-tidal waters combined is four (4). Individual species limits also apply.

Barbless hooks are required when fishing for salmon in tidal waters and non-tidal waters in British Columbia.
