Islander Classic Spey Reel No. 8Islander Reels has just launched a new click and pawl Spey reel referred to as “the modern day Spey reel with some traditional attributes.” The Islander classic Spey reel spool rides on two oilite bushings on a stainless steel spindle; the drag is five-position adjustable and is effected by tensioning the clicker spring against the clicker. There are three spools: 6/7, 8/9 and 10/11 lines, all of them fit the common frame. The reel’s dimensions are1.25-inches wide with a diameter of 4.25 inches and weight of 11.2 ounces.
