Chris Adair is owner/operator of Bottom Dwellers Freediving and a partner at Spearfishing Canada, both of which are based out of Victoria, BC. Chris was born and raised on Vancouver Island, where he continues to reside and facilitate courses, charters and gear sales for his respective businesses. When Chris isn’t in the water, he’s usually working at a way to get back out there, planning the next adventure, unless he’s working on the tools as a Red Seal carpenter. His passion for the sport turned into full time seasonal employment four years prior with Bottom Dwellers Freediving and he’s never turned back. He instructs the Performance Freediving International (PFI) freediver level and intermediate level courses, as well as his own Bottom Dwellers freedive-harvesting course with the aspiration and goals of getting people out there freediving safely and harvesting sustainably and ethically.
