The CCF reels use a cork and carbon fiber composite high performance drag system that is maintenance free and sealed inside the center hub where it is impervious to the elements. No need to be concerned about sand and salt interfering with the performance of a CCF reel and the hybrid drag system is free from start-up inertia and fade.
