2 cups cooked rice

1 medium onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to your preference

2 cans tomato soup

How To Make Moose Meat Cabbage Rolls

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a skillet over medium heat, fry the onions until translucent. Add the minced garlic and fry for another minute. Add in ground moose meat and cook until the meat is no longer pink. Remove from heat and stir in the cooked rice. Season with salt and pepper. Set to the side.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil each cabbage leaf for approximately 30 seconds to soften and remove from the water. Fill each cabbage leaf with a scoop of rice and moose meat filling, roll and place in a greased baking dish with seam side down. Repeat until dish is filled. Pour a couple cans of tomato soup over the cabbage rolls. Cover the dish with tinfoil and bake in preheated oven for approximately one hour. Serve topped with a generous scoop of sour cream.
