  1. Wood lake kokanee crash

    -A local area fishing club has asked the ministry to close fishing for kokanee on Wood lk due to the recent crash in adult fish numbers.
    -Just a few years ago Wood lk was touted by same clubs as Kokanee Capital of Canada.
    -Record low returns of spawning kokanee fall of 2012 were expected as a fish kill happened spring of 2012.

    Thanks for the imfo, I have fished skaha lake for bass ,and have been succesfull there.
    But for kakanee I have no idea where to fish for this
    Specie. As for fishing for bass, I usually
    Fly fish for the bass.
