Turkey hunting season is opening soon here in BC. For many hunters in this province this is still a new endeavor. If anyone has a question about scouting, hunting equipment, calling or anything else about this exiting sport feel free to ask me.
FYI - Those of you visiting the BC Boat & Sportsman's Show on March 4 to 7,2011 in the Tradex, Abbotford. I will be there too, hosting my whitetail deer and turkey hunting seminar. Hope to see you there.

Well I am a bit puzzled with the silence here. Going by the amount of emails I get from BC turkey hunters asking all kinds of questions and the fully booked out BC turkey hunting seminars convinces me that there is a real need here in BC for turkey hunting information.
I've posted on the BC Outdoors blog 20 must know tips on hunting turkeys successfully on crown land here in BC. Please go read it and then if you have questions or would like more in detail information come back here and discuss it.

Congratulations Bill on a great looking bird.
Well my turkey hunting season is not happening this year. Work and family matters come first. This has been the first time in my 15 year turkey hunting career that I had to miss a spring season.
