Last night I was privileged to attend a presentation at UVic by Dr. Alex Morton about the latest virus detection data relating to wild salmon declines along our coast. The evidence against the salmon feed lot companies and the unwillingness or inability of DFO to do anything about this tragic and widespread devastation of our naturalresources is simply overwhelming.

It it is up to each and every one of us recreational fishers to write to our MLA's and MP's, to the local press, to march in protest and do everything in our power to reverse this decline. The consequences of inaction are catastrophic but it may not be too late.
